About the Battle of the Best Competition

The Battle of the Best is an annual competition hosted by the CIA and takes place in various states across the US. Teams usually consist of Law enforcement personnel, military, or other agencies with special ops training. The competition takes 2-3 hours and consists three different missions built around a simulation that will demonstrate a team's skill, stealth, and precision.




FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
How do I enter a team?
Answer:  Competitions are limited to three teams, and first come, first serve. We will advertise competitions at law enforcement agencies, and you can pick up an application there.

What do I get if my team wins?
Answer: If your team is a government agency (police department, military, service personnel, etc...) grant money to fund your agency up to $5,000 can be awarded. If you enter a private team, no money compensation is awarded, however you still get bragging rights.

Who can enter?
Answer: We encourage agencies with special ops training, however there is no restrictions on the general public entering.

Why does the CIA put on this competition?
Answer: The Battle of the Best competition is a unique way the CIA can recruit. Outstanding performances from individual personnel may be rewarded with a job offer in one of our departments.
